More to do
Production circuits, birdwatching, boat trips, hiking and accessibility: things that do not fit in the other sections.
Productive Circuits
Concordia and the Government Boards of the department share spaces and productive circuits that invite you to discover the richness of local work. These routes allow you to get to know the timber industry, packaging, and citrus derivatives, as well as the harvesting and processing of blueberry-based products, among other activities.
Various tourist and productive circuits offer their services on a regular basis, providing an authentic experience that connects regional production with its people and environment.
Birdwatching
The city has a great variety of natural environments that favor a remarkable diversity of birds. Its territory combines species typical of the gallery forest with those that inhabit other environments ideal for reproduction.
The Uruguay River, which embraces the city, is home to numerous populations of aquatic birds, while the native forest and gallery woods offer unique settings to live the birdwatching experience. Concordia invites you to enjoy excursions guided by specialists, where each tour reveals the richness and beauty of its wildlife.
Nautical Journeys
The nautical journeys are presented as an ideal tourist alternative for those who enjoy navigation and water sports. These experiences, which can last from a few hours to full days, allow you to travel across the Salto Grande lake, entering areas inaccessible by land and surrounded by lush flora.
In the Uruguay River and the region's streams, where the waters flow with greater speed, the journeys offer new challenges and the opportunity to appreciate another perspective of the city, discovering landscapes and corners full of history and nature.
Hiking
The hiking or walks along trails and paths have become one of the preferred activities for those who enjoy the outdoors and contact with nature. This practice, which combines sport, tourism, and well-being, invites you to explore the landscapes of Concordia from a closer and more intimate perspective, discovering natural and urban corners with calm and attention to detail.
In addition, this proposal is perfectly complemented by photo safaris, transforming Concordia into an ideal destination to explore, capture, and enjoy the beauty of its landscapes at every step.
Accessibility
Currently, the municipal administration is implementing the Accessibility Guidelines Program in Tourist Services of the National Ministry of Tourism, consolidating Concordia's commitment to inclusive tourism. The city has various accessible spaces, such as the Museum of Anthropology and Natural Sciences, which has signage in Braille, tactile pieces, haptic models, and subtitled videos with enlarged font.
Likewise, the Salto Grande dam, the Interactive Science Museum and Perilago Thermal Park offer tours adapted for people with different types of disabilities. Concordia also has accessible hotel establishments and recreational spaces such as the Los Sauces Beach, the Convention Center and the Termas del Ayuí and Punta Viracho, which have amphibious chairs, guaranteeing an inclusive and quality tourist experience for everyone.
Concordia Racetrack
The Concordia Racetrack operates on municipal grounds managed by the Auto Moto Club Concordia, which organizes the city's motor racing and motorcycling events there. The calendar for each season is announced through the club's channels.
