News<p>Within the framework of the XXXV National Lake Festival that took place last weekend in Federación, EMCONTUR promoted the natural attractions of Concordia and what will be, starting this Saturday, the most passionate Carnival in the country.</p>
News<p>Four days before the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo begins to vibrate to the rhythm of the passions of the Carnival of Concordia, the ballot box was sealed, where at the end of each parade the jury will deposit the score sheets for each comparsa. Each comparsa is a custodian of one of the keys that opens the ballot box, to thus guarantee the transparency of the entire process.</p>
News<p>Friday will be the first parade on the Costanera for the Pequeños Duendes Carnival, and Saturday will be the first night at the Corsódromo for the main Carnival. With a three-day schedule that concludes on Sunday with a new parade of the Pequeños Duendes in the neighborhoods, the city's greatest summer festival begins this weekend.</p>
News<p>Given the rescheduling of the "Mini Reyes" race, which was going to take place this Friday and was postponed to this Sunday due to weather conditions, the organization of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival decided to reschedule the first parade that was announced for this same Sunday. The reason is that many children participating in the troupes had registered for the children's race, and families also wished to be able to enjoy both activities.</p>
News<p>Within the framework of the tourism promotion policies driven by the administration of mayor Enrique Cresto, the Concordia Carnival and all the attractions our city offers were promoted in Buenos Aires, with a presence in prominent national media such as Televisión Pública Argentina and C5N. The Casa de Entre Ríos was another space where all the warmth, rhythm, and passion of one of the most important events in the region were showcased.</p>
News<p>Matias Soto, President of the Carnival Entity, announced that "we signed an agreement with the company Flechabus to promote the Carnival on the units that travel the Buenos Aires - Concordia route, and to offer a significant discount on admission to tourists arriving in our city". </p>
News<p>In 2017, invited by Mayor Cresto, the Association of United Disabled People of Concordia (ADUC) participated for the first time in the Pequeños Duendes Carnival. "We didn't know how the children would react to the noise and the crowd, we went out a bit afraid," says Liliana Salinas, president of the institution. "To our surprise, it went great, the children were happy, they participated every night," she comments. That is why they did not hesitate. "It was already decided, in 2018 we had to participate again," and they are preparing for it.</p>
News<p>They shine in the summer under the imprint of the carnival parades in the neighborhoods. There is no other children's carnival in the country like this one, where inclusion, solidarity, play, and the rhythm of samba complement each other to give birth, in this way, to our "Pequeños Duendes". Organized by the Carnival Entity and the Neighborhood Workshops Coordination of the Municipality of Concordia together with the Conased Foundation, today the 14 troupes of the Pequeños Duendes are part of the municipal state policies that Mayor Cresto promoted with a focus on integration and inclusion. This weekend is the first parade.</p>
News<p>The Carnival Board reported that, on the initiative of Mayor Enrique Cresto, free medical check-ups have been arranged for all participants of the Concordia Carnival troupes, with the aim of preserving the health of the artists and acting preventively. In coordination with the Municipality's Secretariat of Human Development and Health, medical check-ups and examinations will be carried out starting this Friday for all those who parade in the carnival.</p>

News<p>While improvement works continue at the "Atanasio Bonfiglio" Corsódromo site, promoted by Mayor Enrique Cresto with the goal of boosting the Carnival as the great tourist attraction of the summer, the assembly of the stands began this Wednesday, which will be ready for the first opening night of the Battle of the Passions on Saturday, January 20th.</p>
