<p>The Municipal Coordination of Neighborhood Workshops and Cultural Events informs that registration for participation in the 2020 edition of the Pequeños Duendes Carnival is open until Friday, August 30. Established carnival groups, as well as neighborhood commissions, social organizations, or neighborhood groups that wish to form a children's carnival group to participate in the popular carnival, may register at the Coordination offices, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first floor of the former Estación Norte building (Gobernador Cresto and San Lorenzo; above the Radio Ciudadana studios).</p>

<p>On Wednesday night, in a festive atmosphere, the vote count for the 2019 Carnival concluded. The results declared Comparsa Emperatriz the new champion with 722 points. In this edition, the green and white group managed to conquer the five senses of the “Atanasio Bonfiglio” Corsódromo with the theme “Emperatriz conquers your senses”.</p>

<p>The vote count for the 2019 edition of the most passionate carnival was held this Wednesday at the Auditorium theater. The final results painted the passion green and white, and the Emperatriz Comparsa was crowned champion, lifting its eighth cup. In addition, the new Carnival Queen is an Emperadora, Carolina Panozzo Zénere, as well as the majority of the figures. Belen Escobar, from Bella Samba, is the winning Batería Queen, a comparsa that also won for best Lyrics and Music, while the Batería that was crowned champion is Nota Mil from Ráfaga.</p>
